Welcome to Trans Aero MedEvac, a Critical Care air medical transport company formed in the principals of excellence in aviation safety and clinical medicine. In business since 1966, Trans Aero LTD primarily focused on heli-fire fighting activities, as well as contracted helicopter services and maintenance. In 2016, they joined forces with EMSRx, a company known for clinical excellence and support services, to bring a quality focus back to air medicine.

Trans Aero MedEvac currently operates out of three rotorcraft and one fixed wing bases in the Southeastern New Mexico region. With our location and fleet makeup, we are able to respond to a various number of scene calls in different terrains, and can cover territories that extend well into different parts of the state, as well as Texas.

CLINICAL EXPERTISE

Our teams are some of the best trained and most rigorously selected in the air ambulance industry. In the first year of employment with Trans Aero MedEvac, each crew member will receive over four times the average air ambulance industry amount of training.

With the most advanced diagnostics and patient interventions in Northern Texas and Southern New Mexico, Certified Flight Physicians, NP’s, PA’s, Paramedics, and Nurses trained to the highest standard in the industry, you can also count on our team to bring the latest in clinical technology and practice. AVIATION

The Trans Aero LTD team of pilots are highly skilled, instrument rated professionals with many hours of external load operations. Most are USFS/DOI carded. Our pilots’ experience includes air medical, fire fighting, mountain rescue, passenger transport, aerial filming, and disaster relief.

The Trans Aero LTD mechanics average over 5 years of maintenance experience on the type of aircraft operated by Trans Aero LTD. All are A&P’s, are USFS/DOI carded and are CDL qualified to drive our support equipment. LEARN MORE
