New Hire Training Academy

At Trans Aero, we invest in experienced clinicians by providing a structured, immersive onboarding process that prepares you to operate at the highest level from day one.

Prior to your first day, you’ll complete 40 hours of CEU-approved online instruction in Introduction to Critical Care Medicine. This ensures every team member enters the academy aligned on clinical standards and ready to train in our operational environment.

Once hired, you’ll attend a two-week intensive training academy (12 of 14 days), with 8–10 hour training days designed to sharpen your skills and integrate you into Trans Aero’s systems.

This is not medical school; we are not teaching you medicine—we hire professionals who already know medicine. Our academy is about refinement, expansion, and operational excellence.

By the time you complete the academy, you’ll be confident not just in your clinical skills—but in how to execute them within our mission profile.

  • Deep integration into how Trans Aero operates as a system
  • Clear expectations around our clinical, operational, and safety standards
  • Extensive hands-on familiarity with aircraft, equipment, and medical bags
  • Repetition-based training so you can locate critical equipment quickly—even in low-light or high-stress environments

Training includes access to a high-fidelity simulation lab at Eastern New Mexico University, providing realistic, scenario-driven training in a controlled environment.Advanced procedural training is reinforced through tissue-based labs, with plans for a tissue lab in Roswell or a cadaver lab in Lubbock, Texas to further enhance hands-on experience with complex, high-acuity skills.

You don’t leave the academy just trained—you leave mission-ready, aligned with Trans Aero’s standards, systems, and expectations, and prepared to perform confidently when it matters most.
