This initiative ensures families in the county have access to high-quality air medical transport without the burden of out-of-pocket expenses.

As a trusted air medical provider serving both Chaves and Eddy Counties, Trans Aero Medevac operates helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft to transport patients between medical facilities and directly from emergency scenes. The organization is committed to delivering an unmatched level of care across the region.

Through this program, Chaves County residents and their families will receive full coverage for air medical transport when flown by Trans Aero Medevac. Members will have zero out-of-pocket costs and can feel confident knowing they are receiving top-tier care during critical moments.

Residents are encouraged to be proactive in their care. When air medical transport is needed, patients and their families have the right to request Trans Aero Medevac. Ensuring that medical providers and facilities are aware of this membership is key to receiving the benefit.

To support awareness and accessibility, Trans Aero Medevac is working closely with local hospitals, community leaders, fire departments, and law enforcement agencies throughout Chaves County. This collaboration helps ensure that first responders and medical professionals recognize and honor the membership program.

Membership materials provided to residents include identification stickers for insurance cards and vehicles. These stickers display the appropriate dispatch information and help emergency personnel quickly identify membership status during a response.

It is important to note that this membership applies only to transports performed by Trans Aero Medevac. Coverage cannot be extended if another air medical provider completes the transport. Residents should inform medical personnel of their membership prior to transport whenever possible.

This membership extends to all immediate family members and is valid across all Trans Aero Medevac service areas, providing peace of mind both at home and while traveling within the network.

the City of Artesia, ensuring that residents of Eddy County will once again benefit from free air
ambulance memberships. This program reflects Trans Aero MedEvac’s commitment to protecting the
health and
well-being of the community by making lifesaving air medical transport more accessible and
worry-free.

As part of this program, all Eddy County residents are automatically enrolled at no cost. If a
resident ever needs to be flown by Trans Aero MedEvac, the company will accept insurance or
third-party payment as payment in full — so there are no unexpected out-of-pocket expenses related
to the flight.

Enrollment is effortless and completely free: there’s no paperwork to fill out and nothing extra
you need to do. It’s our way of making sure that, in moments when every second counts, your focus
can remain on your health and family — not on medical bills.

Residents should keep in mind that this membership applies only to flights provided by Trans Aero
MedEvac and does not extend to other air ambulance services. To take advantage of this benefit, be
sure to request Trans Aero MedEvac if air medical transport becomes necessary.

Due to state regulations, Medicaid members are not eligible for this membership program.
